• "Sinner" is a present-tense description of everyone, including those who have put their faith in Christ. Of course, those who have called Jesus "Lord" are justified, meaning that they are no longer guilty. Also, they have been given the Spirit, which makes them slaves to Christ rather than to sin. But we all are sinners. Perfection awaits eternity.

• Como consejero, he hablado con muchas personas que quieren conocer sus dones espirituales. Vienen esperando algún tipo de prueba diagnóstica que los localice con precisión. Mi impresión es que esta perspectiva representa un colapso en la iglesia. Refleja una iglesia en la que corremos de un lado a otro como individuos que se autorrealizan, en lugar de unirnos como una comunidad que glorifica a Dios.
