• I grew up in a Christian home, but was nearly 17 before I realized I had to make my own decision to place my trust in Christ. Salvation cannot be earned by doing good works or going to church, and can't be automatically passed on from Christian parents. Salvation is a free gift from God, who sent His Son Jesus Christ to die in our place.

• You can educate people about politics, criminality, the law, but not about medicine? It's just silly.... I really don't want to hurt anybody, but to say the truth and to offer words that might be helpful in understanding what some of these conditions are. I can't see any reason not to do that. That's changing things for the better.

• No soy fan de Twitter. Lo hago porque me siento responsable ante los dos millones de personas que me siguen, pero Twitter para mí no es más que otra cosa que tengo que hacer. Y es sobre todo un lugar para que la gente te ataque y abuse de ti. Personalmente, no le saco mucho partido. Recibo cientos de peticiones para responder al tipo de preguntas médicas que requieren tres años de tratamiento para evaluarlas, pero la gente se enfurece cuando no resuelvo sus problemas en 140 caracteres.
